One of those can’t miss downtown coffee shops. Have to give this place a five star review after a quick visit in Yakima. Walked in right behind a man who greeted the staff by name and was in turn greeted by name. They knew his order and nearly had it ready before he arrived. The space is super neat. Upstairs has ample seating, but if it’s packed, there’s a basement with plenty of tables to work or game. I got the cold brew and a breakfast burrito. Can’t beat the prices. Cold brew is a bit on the coffee-er side (not a bad thing), so if you like mellow, just get an extra pump of syrup. Breakfast burrito is one of the best I’ve had. Torta like crispy shell with a perfect balance of egg, chorizo, and cheese. I only wish I would’ve asked for salsa.
Great spot, really glad I found it. Would absolutely frequent this place every single day if I lived close enough. Clean, inviting, safe. Decent prices as well. Wish every city in America had spots like this. I will definitely come here again.
Drinks are delicious.. best atmosphere in Yakima. They have a downstairs for more privacy!
Enjoyed a Nutella late for the first time. Great place with plenty of seating to have a cup of coffee with a friend or study. Highly recommend this place if you are in the area.
The "Damn Good Chai" we ordered was delicious! My husband had some dietary restrictions and the staff was SUPER helpful and willing to go out of their way to thoroughly check ingredient lists for us. The vibe in the cafe is cozy and chill. Definitely would go again and recommend it to family and friends. :)
Great find. Came here on a recommendation from a local as I needed a place to get some work done in a relatively quiet and spacious place. Mak Daddy is perfect. Parking was easy with the free public lots nearby. The environment when you walk in is inviting and cozy - natural lights, wood construction, plants and the smell of baked goods. Menu is extensive! Lots of drink options, from basic coffees to extravagant non-coffee drinks and plenty of snacks / food options. They serve breakfast all day and have a host of sandwich options. The downstairs basement was great for my purposes - bigger tables and plenty of seats to either study or work. And it wasn’t terribly crowded. Overall, great spot.
Fast service. Clean and great atmosphere inside. Tasty drinks but my favorite was my lunch meal. Definitely recommend the paninis!
Fabulous coffee shop! The barista was friendly and skilled, so my coffee was delicious and my latte was perfect. The interior is attractive with brick walls, huge windows, nice art, good music, lovely plants, beautiful ceiling tiles and lighting. Great place to hang out!
